Green Finance in post Epidemic Era

Abstract

Ecological and environmental problems have become increasingly severe over the past few years, posing serious threats to human survival and development.  In 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 accelerated this trend and made the economic and social development of all countries face greater difficulties. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, accelerating economic recovery and seeking new economic growth points have become the urgent needs of major economies in the world. Nowadays, in the financial field, green finance has become an important direction of the development of the financial industry, which is of great significance to promote the sustainable development of the economy.

Considering that there are still a few issues in the development of green finance in the post epidemic era, such as single financing tools and relative shortage of relevant professionals. Governments and enterprises of all countries should strategically understand green finance and establish the concept of green development, improve the development mechanism of green finance, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in the field of green finance, and improve the ability of governments.
